The Perc Tucker Regional Gallery in Townsville acquired Dallas’ portrait painting of Christine Anu, the singer and actor, for the gallery's permanent collection. Dallas' works are held in corporate and private collections worldwide, and her paintings have been valued and approved by the Australian Government's Cultural Gifts Program. Dallas has been the curator and sponsor of the Arts Section of the Cancer Council Posh Auction since 2000.

Dallas’ inspiration is drawn from the shoreline and ocean around the bays, and the winding trails through the national parks. She calls her unique style “Vibrant Coastal Expressionism”, and the bold curves of rocks and leaves, and tidal markings formed by the flow of the ocean’s currents, becomes a landscape of patterns that she creates from each exquisite observation. The lush plant life under the tree canopy makes for vivid paintings full of energy, while the calming bays of crystal waters evoke a softer hue and mark making.
