Jenny is a landscape artist drawing on the abundant natural beauty surrounding Noosa. She constructs bold images by abstracting from the visible world a composition of fragmented memories not remembering the experience in totality, or in a single image but depicting the feeling of what it was like being there at the time.

The weather, the colour or the texture of the foliage are all part of the process.   By isolating parts of a landscape on a canvas it becomes a mental map of a collection of memories.

As an artist she enjoys the challenge of capturing the invisible quality of the subject, which evokes an emotional response in the viewer, transporting them to another time and place.
