Magnolias was inspired by photos I took on one of our last motorhome adventures. We travelled to Armidale through the New England area of NSW where we lived for several years before relocating to Cooma in the Snowy Mountains Region of NSW. Tripping down memory lane I found this beautiful magnolia tree in the grounds of my favourite GP. 
It always reminds me of the resilience and fighting spirit of the several breast cancer women I knew in Cooma.
I love pink and have painted several versions of this photograph.
