Two luscious Australian floral emblems are celebrated in this artwork, Noosa Gum Blossoms and Sydney Waratahs. Rugged, yet beautiful these two flowers dominate the canvas with their vibrant energy, texture and saturated colour. 

Velvet red Waratahs are symbolic to Jodie's native New South Wales and the fluttery pink and red Gum Blossoms are a beautiful floral feature found in the bush lands which surround the Artists home in Noosa.

The dramatic black background lifts shades of peach, sage, emerald, fern, tan, cerise, crimson red and fuchsia pink to life in this floral artwork.

Jodie dedicates this artwork to her late grandmother Enid who bravely fought breast cancer. Enid, like Jodie grew up in New South Wales but spent most her life here in beautiful Queensland.

This artwork is available for auction as part of the Studio One Noosa "Pretty in Pink" fundraiser supporting the McGrath Foundation. All auctions will close on Saturday, 26th October 2024 at 11:59 PM. Purchased artworks can be collected in person from Studio One Noosa, 10/64 Gateway Drive NOOSAVILLE QLD 4566 or will be dispatched within 5 business days using your preferred courier or through our courier service at an additional cost. Every piece will be carefully wrapped and packaged to ensure safe delivery within Australia.
